Welcome to Moonlit Acre!
Mariah's Boon

Mariah's Boon is a double registered 2006 American Drum horse stallion. Registered with the American Drum Horse Association and the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association. He will be starting his breeding career in 2009 and started his show career in 2007 having multiple wins in halter, showmanship, driving and soon dressage. Look for him at this years Feathered Horse Classic in Perry, GA!

I can not say enough about Boon. He is the perfect example of a Drum horse. His temperament is unsurpassed; one of the most well behaved, calm, and intelligent stallions I have ever known. Conformation and looks to die for with his one crystal blue eye (just like his daddy) and bay and white coloring. He is heavy boned and moves like a dressage dream. Our plans for this guy is everything! Driving, dressage, western pleasure, steady trail mount, breeding stallion, show stopper, make your heart melt, dreamy.....getting carried away.....you get the picture; Versatile.

His sire is none other than the famous DF Chalk Talk of Mariah Farms in Belton, SC. Chalk was Grand Champion at the Feathered Horse Classic in 2006 and the first licensed and inspected Drum horse stallion. Please visit
www.MariahFarms.com to learn more about Chalk.

News Flash! Boon's dam, King Creek Donna of Drum and Feather Farm, just won ID mare class and received 2nd Premium at inspections at the 2008 Heartland Feathered Classic. Please visit www.DrumandFeather.com for more information.

With winning parents, Boon is sure to be a great competetor!

Boon's Gandsire is Clononeen Guinness. Please visit www.Texasdrafts.com for more information about Guinness.

Boon was trained to drive by Jean Thornton, USDF Gold medalist, of Equivale,
