Draft under Saddle- 3rd place out of 12                                                                                 This was Boon's first under saddle class. He was shown by Starr Carlson, our newest trainer/rider.

This was the first show Boon was able to compete in all events. Halter, driving and now under saddle. I was so pleased with him. Not only did he steal the show, but he was the best behaved horse there, even as a stallion.

This was our first "big" show of the season and I was sooo nervous. There were so many people watching! I went into the class with my heart racing and butterflies in my stomach. I came out ear to ear with a grin because it was so much fun and Boon did GREAT! We even got chears from the crowd! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello to Boon, we were able to educate the population about Drum horses, and of course, my favorite, show off Boon and the breed. Boon's sire, DF Chalk Talk, and Tanya of Mariah Farms cheered us on with support. Thanks Tanya for coming all this way for us, we had LOADS of fun!
